
Alejandro “Alex” Cestero is the President/CEO of AccuFleet International, Inc., a Texas headquartered, privately-owned provider of aviation support services to major domestic and international airlines operating in airports across the country. AccuFleet specializes in ground handling, industrial cleaning for aircraft, seat and upholstery maintenance, and other critical airfield services. Formerly, Alex spent nearly two decades in the upstream energy industry, including over ten years as a senior executive and general counsel at various publicly-traded, oilfield services, manufacturing and drilling companies, including: Frank’s International N.V., Weatherford International plc, Lufkin Industries, Inc. (later bought by GE Oil & Gas), Pride International, Inc. (now part of Valaris plc), and Pride International spin-off, Seahawk Drilling, Inc. Mr. Cestero started his career as an attorney at Vinson & Elkins LLP and Bracewell LLP.
Mr. Cestero is a board member of the St. Luke's Health System, an alumnus of the Texas Lyceum, a member of the international trade and aviation/aerospace committees of the Greater Houston Partnership, and an executive member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association. His prior leadership and civic roles including being a past board member of the State of Texas Judicial Compensation Committee, a past President and a board member of The General Counsel Forum – Houston Chapter, and a prior Chair of the membership committee for the state-wide organization; a past member of the executive committee of the Institute for Energy Law, and a past Chair of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. He is an active community volunteer, including with various Rice University committees and coaching youth sports.

Mr. Cestero earned his B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Rice University and his J.D. from Stanford Law School and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Cestero was born in Puerto Rico, grew up on the East Coast (primarily in Miami), but has been a proud Texan since he adopted the Lone Star State when he started his college years in the early 1990's. He is married to a native Texan, has three sons, and resides in Houston.
