Impuestos

Speaker: Former United States Treasurer Rosario Marin

Taxes

Speaker: Former United States Treasurer Rosario Marin

Paying taxes at the federal, state and local levels government exists to provide essential services like our military, our police, our roads and bridges, public education and to respond to natural disasters.

No one would argue against the need for

government providing those services. But when government starts to grow beyond these basic services, it becomes large, intrusive, inefficient and bureaucratic. The bigger the government, the more opportunity for wasteful spending and the higher the taxes one has to pay.
